Obviously I am going to acknowledge A-Rod. Too bad I was watching that ball soar into left field, and not photographing it. Clearly still photography is my thing (with the exception of that one Bonds hit). Anyway, this excellent photo was taken much later in the game, when the hit had been hit, and Yankees were way ahead, and half the stadium had cleared. Nice fans.
It must have been 94° for the first half of the game. Consequently I drank much water and ate only a few peanuts and a few cracker jacks. I do wish that I could bring in my own water, but was dehydrated enough to have no problem paying $4.50 per bottle, four times.
just have to add: wow are the Royals Lame! they did not clap for A-Rod. holy poor sportsmanship you losers. you can't applaud a fellow athlete? you just proved yourselves out of his league. I don't even like A-Rod and I was cheering. it's called an accomplishment...something you might remember from, oh, 1985.

It seems almost everything at Yankee stadium is $4.50. I had at least $20 worth of water at Saturday's game. It was well worth it. The only item not $4.50 is a pretzel which is strangely priced at $4.00.
