there's still hardly a line at the Yankee Stadium Goya concession which makes no sense to me, mostly because it's such a pleasure to have juice (that's guava pictured, $4). On Thursday, when it was 5-million degrees, TFMJ and I decided to have nachos for lunch. Nachos Supreme ($8), to be exact - that's beef, cheese, salsa, guacamole, jalapenos. They were pretty good - though slightly too much cheese - and so big we could not finish them. Soda and water both $4.5; that's how we got to $21.
That was our first baseball nachos, an event that will Not be repeated today as we will be in the right field upper deck (aka the diagonally opposite side of the park). The Yankees play the Royal at 1:05pm
Go to Goya, go, and tell me what You think of it. I talked some guys behind me in line into getting empanadas ($5), and talked the man in front of me at the seats into a Cuban sandwich ($9.75).
