I heard you can get Red Osier Roast Beef sandwiches in Rochester (at the Red Wings, Twins Triple-A) but I did not expect to find them in Pawtucket (Paw Sox, Red Sox Triple-A).
Turns out the Buffalo Bison (Indians Triple-A), the Cleveland Browns, Buffalo Bills, and Tampa Bay Lightning serve these prime rib sandies too.
As Red Osier says: After serving over 100 tons of Prime Rib annually for nearly 30 years
at the Red Osier Landmark restaurant, located in Western New York, and
never being satisfied with the status quo, the Red Osier family added
yet another entity to their offerings. Prime Roast Beef Sandwiches
A Red Osier Roast Beef Sandwich will cost you $6 at a Paw Sox game. More prices to follow.
One more comment on Pawtucket, slim pickings in terms of food. Red Osier was the best looking food in the ballpark, and it wasn't exactly a crowded stand, and it's certainly not a local product. Where's the delicious brothy Rhode Island clam chowder? How about some lobster? What else to they make/grow/fish for in that tiny New England state?
