New York Mets and Aramark announced the launch of Metropolitan Hospitality, a new joint business venture creating a year-round hospitality destination for non-gameday events at Citi Field, the new Shea opening in 2009. The more than 60,000 square feet of hospitality space will accommodate corporate meetings, receptions, private parties, trade shows, weddings, and a variety of other events.
Metropolitan Hospitality will provide corporations, small businesses, and individuals a unique new destination with world-class cuisine and five-star service in an array of elegant state-of-the-art event spaces. Citi Field will feature intimate settings for 25 people to luxury offerings for more than 1,500 guests, in spaces as large as 22,500 square feet. Groups of all sizes will be able to select a standard menu or design their own custom menu.
