The Philadelphia Eagles are reaching out to their cereal-eating fans with Breakfast Blitz, a Cheerios knock-off (toasted oats)
Ralston Foods is producing the cereal for the Eagles and its grocery chain sponsor, Acme Markets, which operates 130 stores in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland. ACME promotes two of its own vendors on the back of the cereal box: Tastykake (another team sponsor) and Lehigh Valley Dairy.
Ralston may or may not be talking to other NFL teams about similar deals.
