Every year after the World Series, Scoreboard Gourmet wonders if it's time to shut down or go on hiatus. But then friends send her text messages like "SG will be covering hockey starting December 6th" which means she's going to a game, which means she'll be unable to ignore her urge to photograph and comment on available eats. Or, maybe she'll mostly watch the game since it will be her first live ice event in years. (Remember when SG tried to go to that Devils game?)
Anyway, this is the time of year when SG is unsure of what to cover. That's why it's time to go on the road. Feels like forever since SG left the comfort and safety of her lovely home where her upstairs neighbor's girlfriend recently discovered their apartment front doors are accessible by the same key. Yes. The B-line in SG's building has all the same locks. Phenomenal.
So let's go to Houston, shall we? It's off season but here's something to know about Minute Maid Park: Visitors may not bring food and drink items into the ballpark.
