PETCO Park
Originally uploaded by standingpartnership

Southwestern options like Rubio’s fish tacos and Randy Jones’ BBQ may be the PETCO Park food base, but you'll also find veggie dogs, veggie burgers, vegetarian burritos, veggie sushi, edamame and fresh fruit salad to eat at the game. Not to mention hot dogs, bratwursts, and veggie-topped Diego Dogs.

An 8-piece California roll costs $12.50. A Spicy Tuna roll, also 8 pieces, is $12.75.

PETCO Park’s new loaded ticketoffers fans the best of everything – with ticket options ranging from all-you-can-eat concessions included – to tickets with a stored value of $20 for purchasing concessions and merchandise.

Eating away the innings in baseball's cheap seats, by USAToday

USAToday, a newspaper I generally only read when I stay in a hotel, did a piece on all-you-can-eat seats in MLB parks. You know what I think - people need to exercise self-control; need to be responsible for themselves. If AYCE disgusts you, sit somewhere else.

Baseball and gluttony, two of America's favorite pastimes, are merging in a controversial trend taking hold at Major League Baseball stadiums across the nation: all-you-can-eat seats.

Fans in these diet-busting sections, for a fixed price usually ranging from $30 to $55, are able to gorge on as many hot dogs, nachos, peanuts and soft drinks as they can stomach. Some teams charge extra for beer, desserts and candy.

here's a little more...

"What's the old saying? A hot dog at the ballpark is better than a steak at the Ritz," says Dodgers chief marketing officer Charles Steinberg, who won't discuss the precise impact the all-you-can-eat seats have had on team revenue.

Among the clubs with all-you-can-eat seats for the first time this year: the Oakland Athletics, Pittsburgh Pirates, Toronto Blue Jays, San Diego Padres, Florida Marlins, Tampa Bay Rays and Arizona Diamondbacks. Besides the Dodgers, Rangers and Royals, those offering them for at least part of last season were the St. Louis Cardinals, Atlanta Braves and Baltimore Orioles.

And here's the link to the full story.

All You Can Eat Seats at Oklahoma RedHawks

Sportsfans all across this fine country just can't get enough popcorn, nachos, soda, peanuts, hotdogs and cotton candy. All You Can Eat Seats are all the rage (which does enrage me somewhat but I'm trying to breathe it out)

This season the Oklahoma RedHawks (triple-A Texas Rangers) are offering fans AllYouCanEat Seat for $20 (per game). Or, you can buy 4 seats for $65 (that sounds like a family pack to me).

AYCE Seats are located in section 100-102 (behind the home dugout on third base side of Bricktown Park) and they are On Sale Now! All You Can Eat Seats are available for purchase exclusively at the Oklahoma Baseball Club Kiosk near the Customer Service desk at the Penn Square Mall.

The RedHawks season starts 4/3 at home v the Memphis Redbirds (triple-A Cardinals).

Fancy Nets Seats include AYCE (and drink)

I have no idea why the Nets call their premium courtside seats "Hollywood Seats" (because they only sell them to movie stars?) but I do know the tickets come with AllYouCanEat and Drink. Same goes for the Loge and Courtside Suites, and the lesser ADT courtside seats. Now I just need to figure out what they serve in there. Anyone know?

Call 816-716-1116 and a premium ticket account manager will get back to you.

The Nets play the Grizzlies at 7:30pm on November 27th.

Flyers AllYouCanEat Section

This Flyers AYCE package includes a ticket and a voucher to be redeemed at the All-You-Can-Eat concession stands behind sections 218 and 219.

Details: Mezzanine level ticket; AYCE nachos, hot dogs, popcorn, and salsa (why do they lists salsa? is mustard not part of the deal?)

The Flyers host the Bruins on Monday, November 26, 2007 at 7:00 pm. AYCE (and other) tickets are stillavailable. Check out my TicketsNow link (right column) if you do want me to have a few pennies
