MLB Sippy Cups (aka Dripless, Sippee )

MsippyHere at Scoreboard Gourmet we do not discriminate against anyone because of age. We love people of all ages, especially 9-month-old nephews (and 4-month-old nephews). Even 9-month-old nephews who are Mets fans.

Check out these fantastic Mets sippy cups we procured for our favorite little fan. $5.99 at Buy Buy Baby in Chelsea (that's NYC), a store we've been spending lots of time in lately.
They had Yankees cups too but our Yankees-fan-nephew is still feeding off his mama.
There are also pacifiers and bottles. We imagine you can find your own teams in your own home markets. Let us know. And let us know how well they work.

We might be watching the Mets play the Nationals tonight. We'll let you know.

Madison Square Garden Juice and Water Bottle Tops

MsgtopsBecause I obviously only order juice and water so that I can throw the bottles at the court, the good people of MSG will not give me bottle tops.
And by 'good people' I seriously mean good people. The vendor, not wanting to break rules but understanding how annoying it is to have two uncapped bottles, gave me two condiments cups to use as caps. I love her.
It was a great idea that worked until TFMJ kicked my water bottle.

Apple and Eve Cranberry, Apple, or Orange Juice at MSG costs $4.

Daytona International Speedway's Best Food Concession

D5icedtea

there's no question that the best food concession at the Daytona International Speedway is Tea-rrific (which may or may not be the correct name). As you can discern, it's all Iced Tea - sweet or not - all the time at the Tea-rrific stands throughout the Speedway.
$5 for a Large; $3 for a regular.
TFMJ and I first split a Large, then later each had our own regular.

The tea is seriously Tea-rific. The only complaint I have is that Tea-rrific was not served in the Terrace Club tent...but that's its own story.
I'm hoping one of the New Smyrna Beach vendors who manned the stands will write in and let me know How Many Gallons of Tea were made each day of Race Week? Thanks. And we were told the tea is brewed on premise - Where and How?

Race fans, do not pass by this concession.

Jeter G2 (gatorade) SuperBowl Ads

G2 is "low calorie off field hydration"? so it's water? and did Gatorade think on-field-athletes were buying all the bottled stuff you can buy in markets and delis?
why is Jeter in this commercial? this stinks of David Wright envy to me. though maybe not since Jeter got two SB commericals and DW got zero
