Running from Saturday July 5th to Sunday July 27th 2008, the 95th Tour de France will be made up of 21 stages and will cover a total distance of 3,500 kilometers (about 2175 miles).
This year's Tour de France will be launched from Brest, starting from Brittany for the sixth time.
And what's the food you must eat in Brittany? The Breton Crepe, which is more delicate/thin than other crepes and can be made with wheat flour (the sweet ones) or buckwheat flour (the savory ones, also known as galettes). I want one now. People have been eating crepes since the Middle Ages.
Brest is a port town. Its proximity to the water means there's lots of good fish in town too. I have never been up there. I need to get on the road more.
Who can tell SG about great creperies and restaurants in Brittany (specifically Brest)? Write in, please.
