Food Network in Indians Suites

Delaware North Companies and Food Network recently introduced a menu of Food Network-created dishes for Cleveland Indians fans in the suites at Progressive Field.
The suite menus feature ala carte selections in 6-person portions. For May, the menu includes beef short rib cobbler with Buffalo chicken, macaroni and cheese, and a salad featuring wedges of iceberg lettuce with peppery blue cheese dressing. New selections will be featured every two months, beginning in June.

There are plans to introduce Food Network menu items for general concessions later this year at the Chicago White Sox’ U.S. Cellular Field. A full rollout of MLB concession items is planned for 2011.

Yankee Stadium's New Malibu Terrace Deck

My fan guide says The Malibu Terrace Deck is located directly above Gate 6 on the Terrace/Grandstand Level (aka 300-level). My eyes tell me The Malibu Terrace Deck is near section 310. The Yankee Stadium Help people say they don't know.

My fan guide says The Malibu Terrace Deck will have a full bar and grilled food. My eyes tell me there will be coconut rum. The Yankee Stadium Help people (when very much led) say The Malibu Terrace Deck will be like the Jim Beam Suite Outdoor Section (pictured below) except that it will be open to the public. They cannot say what the people-max will be. They cannot say if the area will be roped off. They cannot say much about The Malibu Terrace Deck.

More Yankee Stadium Drink Rail

I'm never going to stop talking about the Drink Rail seating option at Yankee Stadium. This is the one in left field, 200-level (aka Terrace). This might be a $29 ticket. Could be $48. No seat. Drink Rail With Seats is called Bar Stool.

How fancy am I with my Seat #27 for the 27-time-world-champions? And that 27 cup-trash-can is even better. Thank you, guy who can't be bothered to use th actual trash can two feet behind him. Which reminds me we need to talk about the difference between Trash, Compost, and Recycling.

Yankee Stadium Counters, the Drink Rail Kind

Yea! They're all over the 300-level. Free. The 200-level has "seat" numbers which I believe means they're $29 or $48, sold day-of, when they're sold. I did not find one person who paid for one at Game 2. Everyone I asked thought I was kicking them out. Because obviously a girl in a kid's Wang t-shirt taking pictures of Drink Rails is Yankees Security. Anyhoo, they're on the field level too. Those are $75, when they're sold. Hopefully the Free Drink Rails will be shared by everyone, not monopolized by few.

Mohegan Sun Sports Bar and Bleachers Cafe at Yankee Stadium

Sitting in the Yankee Stadium Bleachers just got a whole lot better - Welcome Beers of the World to this side of the world. Limited selection - Stella, Hoegaarden, Becks, Czechwar - but that's Amazingly Good News. $11. Most are Cash Only. Enjoy your beer at a Bleachers Cafe table, none of which have a decent view of the game. More on this Yankee Stadium Beer Upgrade later.

Now, let's talk about what makes the Mohegan Sun Sports Bar Less exciting this year? This season you can get cocktails in the field level Food Court - Frozen Margs, Pina Coladas, Strawberry Daiquris $13 or $15 in a fancy, skinny, spring-breaky cup. $11 for other drinks, the liquor kind. I have more to say about this too. Come back.

New Food at SF Giants, AT&T Park

On Friday, April 9 (tomorrow) at 1:35 p.m. the Giants play the Braves in their 52nd Home Opener in San Francisco and 127th campaign in Major League Baseball. 

New Sandwiches:  “Outta Here” Cheesesteaks, a Caprese Sandwich, a classic grilled Reuben, a Columbus St. Combo and a Lettieri Family Italian beef sandwich. 

Niman Ranch Sausages in MLB (Diamondbacks, White Sox)

Thanks to Levy Restaurants for this photo (and the Big Slugger Nachos photo) and for bringing Niman Ranch products to Diamondbacks and White Sox games.

At US Cellular Field you can get Niman meats in the Stadium Club, Diamond Suites, and on the Club Level. At Chase Field you'll find them on the Suites Level (at a cart), and in the suites and clubs.

Diamondbacks open at home v the Padres on Monday, April 5th at 2:10pm
White Sox open at home on the same day at 1:05pm v the Indians.

What I like about this picture is the view into the Caesar's Club. 

Delta Sky360 Club at Citi Field, Brisket Sandwiches

USHG is a consultant to Aramark and the Mets regarding the food and drink at the Delta Sky360 Club (field level behind home plate). There's a dining room (reservations required), a bar/lounge, a buffet called The Market (featuring, duh, Blue Smoke, Box Frites, El Verano Taqueria, and pizza, salad, burgers), and/or you can get In-Seat delivery.

These Beef Brisket Sandwiches (pictured) are available in this 1600-seat area. One day SG will sit inside and tell you all about it. Maybe this season. Thinking it will be so.

Citi Field Fancy Seats - Caesar's and Promenade Clubs

New New New at Citi Field in 2010:

The Caesar's Club (Excelsior Level behind Home Plate) will now have the Cafe Colosseum (their spelling), a first-come, first-seated(!) and -served carved-sandwicherie. Ha. That's confusing.
They'll have sandwiches (short rib, cheese steak, porchetta), wings, salads and Blue Cheese Kettle Chips for people sitting, and the same to-go items as last season, in case you, say, want to watch the game Not on a TV.

The Promenade Club (Promenade Level behind Home Plate) will also now have seating. You can get nachos, burgers, chicken, quesadillas - sitting or to-go. They have a bar too. And, unlike the Caesar's Club, this area actually faces the field.

New, Expanded Access: If you are a precious metals ticketholder (Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze - is bronze precious? maybe not, but you get my point), you're in.
Also in: Club and Box ticketholders.
And: Left Field Reserved and Right Field Reserved ticketholders.
So, to be clear, if your ticket has the word Club, Box, Field-Reserved, or any Metal on it, you can get into the Caesars Club and the Promenade Club.
