The Mud Hens (triple-A Tigers) have fireworks and giveaways tonight (5:30pm game), but I'd rather tell you about Friday May 8th: Bacon Lovers Night when the team will "salute this sizzling meat" with a bacon-themed giveaway for the first 2,000 fans. 7pm game v Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs (triple-A Phillies).
Ha ha! They're having bacon night when they play the pigs.
In Toledo MUST check out Tony Packo's Café. Hungarian Hot Dogs plus chili, chicken paprikas, stuffed cabbage, strudel and apple dumplings. Great pickles, and peppers, and hot dog buns signed by famous people. Restaurant next to the Mudhens' Stadium.
